Introduction 

Water is a types of substance. Its chemical formula is H2O. It is testless, colourless and shapless. We can found it in our environment in three shape such as gas shape, liquid shape ànd solid shape. 

There are eight planets in our solar system. We are only living on the earth 🌎 why there is water that's why we are serviving here. Water is very good substance for life. It makes good environment for creatures. Creatures need good suitable environment, water is only one things which is provide us good environment.  

 

But there is not water on the other planets in our solar system so that we are not there. There's environment is not suitable for life. That's why there are not creatures of any kind. 

Use of water

Water is a very important substance. Without it we can not imagine our life. Our life is depend on it. All creatures are also living through it. Water is our life. We use it in our daily life. 

• To drink. 
• To make food. 
• To wash clothes. 
• To take a bath. 
• To clean house and office. 
• To make infrastructures. 
• To product goods in manufacturing company. 
• To use it irrigation in our field. 
• To product electricity. 
• To use fish farming and others farming. 

Source of water

There are many sources available on the earth such as pond, river, lake, water fall, Sea, ice, under ground water and so. 

Earth is known as the "Blue Planet" because 71 percent of the Earth's surface is covered with water. 

96.5% of Earth’s water is in the oceans, 2.5% is freshwater, about 1% is salty water in the ground. 

Water crisis

The earth is only one planet in our solar system. There are billions of people are living on the earth. Every people want to live a life. They use everythings from the earth. People do deforesting for many purposes such as make houses and infrastructures (school, campus, Highway, Railway, Bridge, factories), to make field for farming, so that the area of forest is decreaseing every year. Forest is main sources of water to save. Lack of woods many sources of water has dried. 

We can see many results of water crisis in our arounding areas like natural resources of water dried, water level of river, lake and Water fall are low. It is not raining in raining season. It is raining in unseason. Increase of

Our scientists are searching planets in the universe where available Water. They can not find it still now. Its search and research is ongoing. Maybe it will discovered in the future.

Efforts to save water

Water is very important things for life, so we have to save it. Due to the human activities the sources of water has gone to bad condition. Many people are having dirty water that's why they are suffering from different types of disease, problems and challenges. So, many international, national organizations and government of nations are working to stop dirty water and to save water resources. Our government and others NGO and INGO made rules and regulations for water but it doesn't do very well apply on the ground. It is only limited on the document and papers. 

To save water, Nepal government is consist water subject in school and campus level for students awareness. Government has opened water resources ministry. They are conducting many types of activities in the field like street drama, to stick pamphlets in the street, to give information through the local radio FM station, advertisement on the social media, T.V., daily news paper and magazine. 

For people awareness, the united nations every year  celebrate world water Day on 22 march.
