Holi is one of the most popular and famous festival of Nepal and India. Holi is called the festival of colors. This festival is celebrated in every year of the month of Falgun according to the Hindu calendar. It is one of the biggest festival of Hindus religious. It celebrates with families members, friends and relatives. Holi is everybody's favourite festival. 

The Holy is celebrated to symbolize the victory of good over evil and light over darkness.

Who celebrate Holi festival ? 

The Holi festival is celebrated with great joyful and enthusiasm by Hindu religious. Mostly it is celebrated in India and Nepal countries because these countries have the highest density of the Hindu population. But in other countries have also celebrated it by Hindus people who are living there. 

Nowadays other casts people also celebrate this festival. In the Kathmandu, Nepal there are many foreigners come to visit Nepal. They also celebrate the Holi festival during visiting Nepal.  

The Holi festival celebrate with great joyful and enthusiasm all over the world by the Hindus people. 

How to celebrate Holy festival ? 

Before one day ago to celebrate the Holi festival, on the square of village and city people collect wood for burn on the occasion of the Holi festival. Next day, people bathe early in the morning and gather on the square and sing traditional songs and to bow in front of the fire and pray with the god of Bishnu. After that, People go to their house and make different types of delicious food and eat. On this day, people invite their relatives, friends to have food and share greeting each other with color. They then visit friends and relatives, exchange sweets and savories as tokens of love.   

In this festival people go to their relatives and families house and eat some delicious food and make good relationship. On the occasion of this day, all people forget their old unhappiness, debate and embrace. People play this festival with bright and attractive colors to express love and happiness with each other.

Some local youth club and institute on this occasion organize different types of events like game, concert and dance. People gather in groups and play with colors on each other and dance. 

What eats in the Holi festival ? 

On the occasion of the Holi festival vegetarian people loved to eat meat and fish. But No vegetarian People don't eat these, they like to eat sweets, puwa, rice pudding, vegetables, rice, pules, milk, curd, taruwa, and fruits items. 

In this festival many people drink alcohol but Vegetarian people don't drink it. They drink juice and soft drink like Coca-Cola, Fanta, sprite, juice.  

What wears in the Holi festival ? 

It is a types of colorful festival that's why People want to celebrate this on the new white dress. In this festival from child to older people wear new white dress and visit each other’s houses. Generally man wear white vest, t-shirt and shurwal and woman wear white Kurta and Salwar. 

People greeting to family, friends, relatives and with colors. They rub color each other on the cheeks and face than after they look amazing. People throw color water on the body of person. 

 Mostly in this day, many people look in different colors. They colored by different types of colors like red, blue, green, yellow and black. 

On the white dress, People look color and attractive. 

Deformities of holi festival.

There are many deformities in this festival. Some people to rub color of powder and splash color of water on the unwanted people. Therefore, many types of issues comes and abuse each other and fighting. 

If you use chemical-based colours it harmful for skin that’s why we should never use this kinds of colors. Holi colours can lead to many skin allergies and rashes. So, we should use organic colors and don’t play with unwanted person. 

In this festival, mostly many youth to drink a lot of wins and drive motorcycle very fast on the way. Due to the drink alcohol they do not controlled the motorcycle and collide to the other passengers and vehicles and they can be deep injures and death. 

We used to hear many kinds of crimes on the holi festival from the social media and news channels. Police used to arrest many persons, who did crime activities like forced coloring, splashing water, Driving a motorcycle at high speed, fighting and stealing.  

Even some people die due to the drink a lot of alcohol. 

Conclusion

The Holi festival is a happy festival. So, we should have to share our love, feeling with simple and good way. Don’t disturb other peoples. We should enjoy with our families members, friends and relatives. We should never play with unknown person and use chemical color.
